I love the little inclusion of Obi-Wan.
Reminds me of a ring that Elizabeth I had of her mother's portrait hiding underneath a jewel.

Nice to think she keeps a portrait of him close to her. Do you think he gave it personally to her before they parted or did she commission the royal artist in residence to paint one for her?

Awh what a lovely little story to imagine! I think she commissioned it...and Obi-Wan begrudgingly posed for said painting (his grumpy face causing Padmé to burst into laughter every few minutes!) Then I think he was called away on Jedi Counsel business and - though he was always saddened to leave her - he was secretly glad to leave the rest of the painting up to the talent of the artist, who would have to rely on a blue flickering hologram for reference... 🥰❤️🖼 |
