I remember that concept about padme having a knife {it was in the episode 3 artwork book} well done and creative storyline and how Qui Gon was going to be the one to guide Anakin back to the light and Obi Wan looks after Padme and the twins

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I only heard about this when it was posted on here and youtube, and the minute I did, this idea popped into my head and would not go away. It never made sense to me Padmé not fighting back on Mustafar. She's such a strong woman, they really should have kept the deleted scenes which did her justice.

I had to come and comment on this first just because of the awesome shout-out to Macbeth in the title. Then I read the fic and I loved it even more! I totally approve of kick-ass Padmé. I didn't know about that original concept, I need to check that out.

OMG! It's so funny that you were prompted to write a story based on this concept, Danielle! Remember that story I told you I was working on but didn't get finished?? Yeah. Lol. But I absolutely LOVED where you took it. The fact that Anakin is still ALIVE! And the implications of that. That beautiful, strong moment at then end where Obi-Wan basically vows to keep her and the children safe. GAH! My mind is still swimming with questions about what will happen next! Will there, uh, be a "next" installment?? Were you planning on writing more?? Cause I would be soooo down with that! This was beautiful as always, my friend. Thank you for sharing your gift with us.

Thank you both, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
The title was originally a working one, I couldn't get the quote out of my head when I saw the concept artwork. When I finished the story, I couldn't think of another title, so I went with it. I was privileged to see the play on my birthday, with Samantha Bond and Sean Bean - sigh, fans self - and I loved it.
As to another installment, Rosalie, I'm not sure. Its spooky you had the same idea, I'd love to see your take on it, please! I like the idea of leaving it open, letting readers imaginations run wild, but we'll see.

You definitely have inspired me to write some more, Danielle. Your work always does. I think I may take my pen up again!
