Let me see... If I remember correctly, I discovered the Obidala Fan Forum through Fanfiction. net, because our dear Ticklesivory also archive her works there. I was browsing through Obidala stories when I stopped dead in front of "The Princess and the Pirate". I read it, loved it and discovered that the author had a website and consequently a forum. Voilà!

I know this will be a long story, but.... I discovered Obidala, not long before this forum was created, by stumbling on one of Kris's stories. I remembered my eyes becoming huge as saucers and my heart pounding, reading away, thinking YES, YES, this is it!! This is the way it should of been. Obi-Wan and Padme deserved each other, needed each other and are made for each other. I love Obidala, (no brainer), and haven't stopped loving the pairing since my discovery, thanks to Kris. I read all of Kris's stories and continue to do so, faithfully. I certainly do my best to read all other Obidalas too! I had gone over to her Bravenet Obidala forum and checked out all the pretties. I was fascinated beyond words, by the art work and everything else. I use to just sit and stare at it, thinking damn amazing, amazing job. And still do, to this day. Okay, now to the question: I remember Kris answering my PM's off and on and how I felt privilege that she took the time to answer my bit of feedback. Then one day, I received an email from Kris inviting me over to this new forum. I was thinking, Kris wants me to join her forum? Me? Little ole me? I was giddy and excited and very anxious. Like a child at Christmas time, who just received a bag full of presents, from Old St. Nick, himself. I was overwhelmed by emotion, and felt extremely special. After all, this was the famous Ticklesivory!! Her most devoted fan, and she wanted me to come over and join her new forum. *lots of happy claps* I remember having a huge smile on my face, that extended from ear to ear and feeling ecstatic and then I came over here ....and the rest as you say, is history.

Well, compared to kenobifan, this will seem rather mundane, lol.
I became intrigued by the idea of Obi-Wan and Padme together, so I found as many stories as I could. Of course, I eventually needed to find a new source of stories, so I went off to google. I type in Obidala, and this forum is one of the first links. And, well, here I am!

Well, I had never actually liked Star Wars, when I was younger. I did love watching Ep 4, 5, and 6, though. One day, at church, my friends (Bonna and Nica) aka Obi-Wan and Ani (Anakin) were talking about episode 1, 2, and 3. I had talked about how the movies weren't that good (the prequels) and than, all the sudden they got ME to start liking the prequels, and than one day while on MSN, Obi-Wan sent me this link to a forum, and it was Obidala! I soon got on fanfiction.net (I can't remember how I found that site) and soon started reading Obidala stories, and thus started to love it. I remember I had been a lurker on this forum for some time, until I convinced myself to become a member and bask in all the glory of Obidala! Since that one day in church with my friends, I started liking Star Wars and Obidala, and now it's an obsession! I'm so glad we got into Obidala, it makes me feel happy, and always lifts my spirits.

I discovered the Obidala Fan Forum while wandering around the deepest darkest corner of space I like to call the Internet. I became a member in Feb. of '06, but didn't post anything until June of '06. It was when Kris posted a link to my first vid ("My Ain' True Love") that I decided to come out of the corner and take an active roll in the forum. So I have to thank Kris for getting me involved in this wonderful forum.

Aw. Memories! I believe that I, too, was searching the internet a couple of years ago for more Obidala goodness when I stumbled upon the forum and thought, "Yay a place where I can find some solidarity with other fans who understand!!" I think my first post was something like, "Yay! I'm posting on an Obidala fan forum! *Does happy dance*" To which a certain ladybug replied, "Yay!! *Does happy dance with NoobianRose*"
Yes . . . I'm a freak and remember my first post.
Anyway, I think that's how it went. The story of my arrival is less than exciting. Re-read Lynda's post for some of that!

And I for one am so HAPPY that you unlurked! "My Ain' True Love" is still, btw, one of my favorite Obidala vids.

Yes, I do believe I recall something like that. Our Ladybug tends to be rather emotional in regards to the pairing. I hope that excitement you speak of continues, Rosalie!

When did I first come upon the Obidala Forum? Well, it was a dark and stormy night -- Just kidding. In reality, I stumbled upon it when a new reader in the name of Lynda began commenting on the Obidala pieces in my writing journal. I was ecstatic for a new reviewer, and so happily agreed when she asked if she could archive my fics at this strange new place known as the "Obidala Fan Forum." As an ardent Obidala shipper I thought, "Sounds like a place I'd enjoy!" So I checked this place out, set up an account and began my descent into total fangirlish madness. Actually, I'm kidding again with that last part. I was already fangirlishly mad! Now I'm just moreso.
